Cowboys' Woes

Not much new to say here. I still stand by my previous posting on the QB controversey. All I can say now is thank goodness the Bill Parcells era is over. I know, I know, he's a hall of fame coach, but his four years in Dallas have been nothing more than mediocre. I am ready to move on, although I am nervous about how Jerry Jones is going to fill the head coaching position.

NERVOUS is a bit of understatement in my opinion.

Let's look at Jerry's track record to see why:

Fired Tom Landry HUGE NEGATIVE (just the principle of how he handled it)
Hired Jimmy Johnson ONLY POSITIVE (yet clouded by the firing of Legendary Landry)
Fired Jimmy IDIOT MOVE (you can argue he didn't fire him, but he most certainly held the door open for
him on his way out)
Hired Barry Switzer NEGATIVE (Barry won a Superbowl, you say. The people that believe that should not be
allowed to watch football anymore and be forced to wear a Sports Idiot t-shirt)
Hired Chan Gailey BUST (nice guy, lousy head coach)
Hired Dave Campo MORON (I have nothing good to say)
Hired Bill Parcells ENDED NEGATIVE (what do we have to show for his 4 years here, nada, zip, zilch)
